Here's some freelance work I did back in February for a client. I don't usually do freelance work unless I'm friends with the person or it's a big company (this was the latter.)

I did two pieces for them but this is the only that I'll put up for now.

Brush and ink with Photoshop colors. This piece was done on 3 seperate layers: the figure on one, the pipes and background on another and the fire/steam on the third so manipulating the lineart colors was a piece of cake. I'm usuing a similar approach to the East Coast Rising 2 cover, when that's finished I'll post a little about that too.

isn't a trade of the comic due out soon, cause I'm a wuss and prefer my comics collected in a tome with the extra goodies....so, that in the works right now or is it still got a while before it gets collected?

oh, like i said in the description, this was freelance illustration for an unnamed client. not a comic!! Which comic are you talking about? American Virgin? The 3rd trade is due in November, the first two are already out. Check my website for information like that, i keep it pretty up-to-date with my releases.

Wow, nice! I really like it and I think the fact that you did it all originally in 3 different layers makes the final art kinda 3D-like. Awesome stuff as always!
