okay! i feel like i'm cursed!! i transfered this picture TWICE and both times lost my clean pencils >_> so third time is a charm i guess, inked it up and scanned it before i could lose it again!! THEN i submitted it twice to DA and neither one showed up!!!! somebody does not want this picture to be seen!!!! <_<

anyway, i struggled with the colors as usual, i wanted it to look all smoggy and polluted, but i've been using rusty reds and soggy greens so much lately that i decided to pep this one up a bit with some blluueee skiiiiessss, a little more optomistic!!!! a little more fresh and so clean (hehe) anyway, blegh.... >_O hope you likess

two characters from east coast rising, photoshop over brush and ink drawing.

for everyone who asks when this comic is coming out: i'm not starting until next year!!!!!!!! so it's gonna take a while!!!!!

this is a lovely image, it caught my eye as i browsed around. as i looked at it i realized it was familure to me , not the characters or scenery persay but the , ... colaberation .. of it all. it looks like the image of saint christopher. a large man said to have been banished to live near a river, who helped travelers cross by carrying them since he was such a large strong man, and once was said to have carried christ as a child across and being deemed a saint for bearing not only the weight of the child but the weight of the world which the child carried with him.

ive been searching for an image that tells that story for a while, which is why it presented itself to me in this picture.. this is only the second image that ive found that wasnt an ancient painting or jewelry pendant.

i love it , kudos.
